If it talks like a developer

I wuz wandering round the net looking at news, came across a denial by Eric Maxwell saying he wuzn't a developer. Sounds like lawyer-speak to meez. How can u have a company with the word DEVELOPEMENT in the title and say u don't wanta grow up to beez a developer? How can u be part owner in groups that are developing stuff and say u tain't no developer? Jest wondermenting.
