Suing for Signs

Eric Maxwell sued the county to get unlimited signs on his yard. Don't know why he sued really cause the county was already in the midst of changing their sign ordinances. He got a temporary injunction during the campaign allowing him to put up all the signs he wanted and then he didn't put up any. Go figure. Then when the county finished up their ordinance rather than drop the lawsuit he kept on until finally they just settled with him cause it would have cost taxpayers tons of money to keep going. Why didn't he just settle if they'd already changed it? I guess so he could say he won? I guess he did cause he wouldn't do the right thing and settle and was going to carry on all the way even though in the end the court would have said it was already changed? I don't get it except maybe mean spiritness? Sooner or late someone's going to read this blog and come back with an answer.

By making the county have to settle with him he was able to say he won.
