Sheriff's race already starting
Little birdies are already talking about Thomas Mindar in 2008 for Fayette County Sheriff, . He works for the Sheriff, no idea how long. Worked for the Fayetteville puleeze Dept. afore that.
He's the guy who (at least accordin' to the big bad Citizen) tossed City Councilman Brewer's granddaughters pot pipe into the woods after pulling her over. Here, you can read about it for urself: http://thecitizennews.com/archive/main/archive-050615/fp-02_coverup.html. Nelms is a bulldog when he gets into a story. After the story all of sudden Nelms was no longer covering anything much in Fayette County, started covering Union City.
Anyone out there in blogland know anything about this guy? He might be running sooner than that if stuff starts comin' out about the Sheriff.

GET IT RIGHT! Mindar is NOT the one that tossed the pipe..Towler was - see below..this was copied and pasted from the reference you made on your page:
The officers were told by the male subject that the jacket containing the pipe and seeds was his but that he had loaned the jacket to someone and it had just been returned to him.
The pipe and its contents, he said, did not belong to him, according to the report.
After a brief conversation with the occupants, Towler threw the pipe into nearby woods and filed a “miscellaneous” report.
In a handwritten statement regarding the incident, Towler added that he was approached by Lash shortly after finding the pipe inside a jacket in the back seat.
“Lt. Lash told me to cut them loose because Ledbetter was freaking out because that was councilman Brewer’s granddaughter,” Towler said. “I informed Lt. Lash that I had found seeds and a pipe. Lt. Lash said, ‘Well you better dot your i’s and cross your t’s, but you need to get them out of here.’ I did not finish my search based on what I was told.”
I BELIEVE YOU NEED TO CORRECT YOUR REMARKS, SIR.
Actually, I was at the scene of the incident. It wasn't a pullover, it was a search warrant. I was merely a witness to the events. I didn't throw anything into the woods or take anything from anyone's granddaughter. It you read the article, it will state that. No harm, no foul though. I am sure it was just a misunderstanding. Thomas Mindar
I just wanted to let you know a couple things about the "incident". First, it was a search warrant. Second, I was there to assist and only present as a back-up officer. And lastly, I myself, never threw anything into the woods and never took anything from anyone at that scene.
I know it was probably just a misunderstanding. No harm, no foul. The article was explain this. Thomas Mindar
